Replacement Window Installation

Our own technicians measure and install every window. The same people who repair windows and replace glass every day install your new ones, so the job is done by someone who knows how windows fail and how to set them so they don't.

New windows make sense when the frames are rotted or warped, the windows won't open, stay up or lock and can't be fixed, or you want a different style or color. New windows also bring tilt-in sashes for easy cleaning, fresh weatherstripping and new glass throughout.

AS&G provides a wide range of repair services to help you get the most out of your existing windows. Often windows can be repaired before they need to be fully replaced, and we'll tell you when that's the case.

We primarily install insert replacement windows. The new window fits within an existing frame that is suitable to remain. We inspect the frame, sill and opening before confirming the installation scope and finishing details in your estimate.

For windows facing traffic, flight paths or other urban noise, we assess acoustic glass in a compatible existing window. Where the original window cannot be changed or accept that glass, an interior secondary sound-reduction window can be another option if there is room for it. This can be useful in condos with restrictions on exterior windows. The existing assembly and available space determine the approach; we do not promise a specific sound reduction or approval from a condo association.
